John 15:16 You did not choose Me, but I chose you, and I set you that you should go forth and bear fruit and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name, He may give you.
We see in this verse God does three things and we need to do three things.
God chooses us, sets us and gives us. We need to go forth, bear fruit and ask.
He has already chosen us and set us. If we would go forth and ask He will give us remaining fruit. If not we may be cut off and burned. What is it to be burned? A punishment maybe? I’m not clear but I would rather focus on going forth, asking and bearing fruit rather than worry what the burning means.
